Tanya Fischer was born in Doylestown, Pa. in 1973 and graduated magna cum laude from Beaver College in Glenside, Pa. with a BFA in painting.
She was the recipient of the Ruth C. Grant Distinguished Achievement Award among other honors and scholarships. She worked at the Vermont Studio Center with artists such as Emma Amus, Grace Hartigan, Joel Fischer and Robert Barnes.
Juried shows and group exhibitions include Beaver College Art Gallery, the Richard Eugene Fuller Art Gallery and the Memorial Union Art Gallery at Arizona State University.
While pursuing exhibitions of her fiber art and cast paper, Tanya works in various two dimensional media. Her work is in numerous private and corporate collections throughout North America.
Born in 1968, Michael Warnica received his BFA from the University of Arizona. He expresses his art in printmaking, painting, figure drawing and collage.
Currently, Michael Warnica is interested in taking more traditional imagery and adding a modern touch so that it can be more appropriate in a contemporary environment. He does this by working in a variety of palettes and incorporating elements that challenge traditional perception.
Michael Warnica’s work is in numerous private and corporate collections throughout North America.
As well as continuing to produce their own, individual artwork, Tanya Fischer & Michael Warnica also do collaborative work which has met with great success.
